The Rockefeller Center during Christmas is world famous and has been featured in many movies and television shows. The 70-floor building sets an imposing backdrop and the equally grand tree is decorated lavishly and displayed right in the center of courtyard. Artist Eric Dowdle has captured all of this in an illustration that also features ice skaters in the famous outdoor ice rink, carolers singing and shoppers clutching their purchased gifts as they take in the scene.
